Paul and Laura met at a beach on the Gulf Coast, and then they moved seven times in 10 years. Finally, in 2017, they returned to Laura's hometown, Cincinnati. Paul worked in the demanding realm of corporate chef restaurants, while Laura thrived in the competitive field of corporate sales. The previous owners of Chef’s Cafe are distant cousins on Laura’s side and offered to sell them the business, so Chef’s could continue as family-owned. It was perfect timing and a dream come true to combine family, life, and food. Paul and Laura took ownership of Chef’s Cafe on March 4th, 2022, and have been “marching forth” ever since.
